Impersonator E56 with Kinman's Gen-2 technology. We changed the name from A56 to E56 (E for enhanced) which better describes this pickup (7-Aug-18). Frequently seen Forum comment “Noiseless Strat pickups don’t have Fender highs, snap and crispness” Until the advent of our Gen-2 models that did have an element of truth in it, but not anymore, Kinman Gen-2 pickups are the real deal. News flash Apr-2021: Now with our new Synergy baseplate that allows switching off Hum Cancelling as well as switching to 'Synergy' mode. This new Impersonator E69 is the latest addition to our impressive line-up of non-aged-sound Generation-2 Zero-Hum Strat pickups and fills the gap between the low output Scoop and the moderately loud Impersonator E56.

Honestly, the Kinmans are making my other Strats sound dark – and they’ve got true single coil pickups in them. Noiseless pickups aren’t supposed to have better top-end than true single coil pickups, but these do". (read the Report Card for more)

The PAF Plus is a much improved PAF which works better in the neck position than conventional humbuckers and is excellent for the bridge position too if you want noticeably less dirty growl and grind than a regular humbucker. Featuring vastly improved Tone / definition / clarity on the wound strings with minimized blurring from the low notes in the neck position, thanks to Kinmanusa’s Triple Alnico Tone advantage. This muscular vintage pickup produces a sound with a big girth and prominent highs; it excels for rock, virtuoso instrumental, blues, you name it, even Jazz. Boxing glove attack and terrific twang with piano mid-tones galore, which turns into a low-note growl under higher gain. That nasty, jagged ice-pick-in-the-ear annoyance that makes your ears hurt is avoided. Still, paradoxically, the prominent highs are quite outstanding and possess a silky purity in which ordinary single coils pale in comparison. It has quite a percussive feel. It doesn't matter if your playing style is slow and soulful, fast and furious, bluesy, rock, or virtuoso, the Mod-Jag will satisfy all kinds, including demanding virtuoso players. -

Naturally, as the name implies, it is the fully balanced companion pickup for the wonderful Bridge Blaster, and it has the sonic character to match. Lots of thick-sounding thumps from the low wound strings and noticeably darker sweet plain strings, even in the high register. It's also good as a companion pickup for PAF-type bridge humbuckers and P-90s. -

The P.A.F Astound v2 is a high energy version of the P.A.F Plus with an overdose of drive and dirty but defined growl for the bridge position. Awesome dynamic range and exceptional touch sensitivity adds a 3rd dimension to the sound that effortlessly cuts through the band. Better dynamic response and is very responsive to pinch harmonics and hammer-ons which makes it a must for shredders as well as rock and heavy rock -and- metal. It growls under gain on the wound strings and sings sweetly on the plain strings with an intense harmonic bloom which is as smooth as silk .... with a bitey edge that's not razor sharp and offensive.
